As Executive Manager, AI Governance & Operations, you’ll define and establish how AI is safely, responsibly and effectively used across IAG. This is a shaping role at the forefront of enterprise AI adoption—focused on setting frameworks, guardrails and ways of working that enable thousands of AI‑enabled tools and agents across the business. Combining deep ethical AI expertise with strong consulting capability, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to balance innovation with regulatory confidence. You’ll shape enterprise AI governance across strategy, operations and adoption, enabling teams to innovate at scale while ensuring trust, compliance and sustainable value in a highly regulated insurance environment. This is a permanent full-time role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) or Naarm (Melbourne). What You'll Do Shape how AI tools, agents and platforms are used safely and effectively across the business. Define and own enterprise AI governance frameworks, standards and lifecycle controls. Establish AI risk, assurance and incident management capabilities across the enterprise. Partner with senior stakeholders to embed ethical and responsible AI practices at scale. Enable federated AI capability through communities of practice, playbooks and guidance. Influence enterprise decisions on AI adoption, prioritisation and value realisation. Continuously evolve governance and operating models as AI maturity and regulation evolve. What You'll Bring Senior leadership experience shaping AI strategy, governance or operating models at scale Deep expertise in ethical, responsible and compliant AI in regulated environments Consulting‑grade stakeholder engagement skills, including C‑suite influence End‑to‑end understanding of AI initiatives from ideation through to scaled adoption Strong governance, risk management and assurance capability, ideally in insurance or FS Experience leading cross‑functional teams across data, engineering, product and business Commercial mindset with the ability to translate AI opportunities into business outcomes What We Offer Boosted superannuation with 13% as standard. 20 days annual leave + 5 days MyLeave (extra leave for what’s important to you).
