About the Job Location: Taguig Corporate Title: Senior Manager Work Arrangement: Hybrid Our Risk Management Department is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Risk Officer - Model Risk Management. In this role you will provide analytical, coordination, and governance support for the Bank's enterprise-level Model Risk Management (MRM) function, ensuring model risks are inventoried, monitored, escalated, and integrated into ERM, Risk Appetite, ICAAP, and senior management reporting. You will also support independent model validation activities and governance processes as part of the second line of defense, ensuring outputs are defensible, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and MRM standards. What the role will entail Maintain model inventory with clear documentation of purpose, ownership, lifecycle stage, and risk classification Apply and update criteria for materiality, tiering, and risk classification in line with the Model Risk Management Framework Perform consistency checks to ensure all models meeting governance definitions are properly captured and monitored Consolidate model information including validation status, findings, and limitations into enterprise-level risk views Identify risk concentrations and dependencies across ICAAP, ECL/IFRS 9, stress testing, pricing, and strategic processes Track remediation status of validation findings, escalate high-risk issues, and support management visibility Prepare dashboards and working papers for Senior Management and the Risk Management Committee What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline; Master's degree is an advantage At least 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in model risk management, quantitative risk oversight, enterprise risk, capital analytics, or related functions within a regulated financial institution Knowledge of frameworks including model lifecycle governance, materiality and tiering concepts, ICAAP and stress testing linkages, and independent validation techniques Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, professional skepticism, and ability to translate technical findings into governance-ready insights Effectiveness in control within a second-line control environment, ensuring sound risk oversight and governance alignment What you can expect from joining our team Career development and training opportunities Competitive salary package and benefits Performance-based incentives and recognition programs to reward high-performing individuals Opportunity to work with industry experts and be mentored by them Defined career progression paths to guide you in your professional growth
