Job Summary

This position is responsible for the development and operation of our hybrid identity infrastructure (Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory) and the security governance of enterprise AI tools. You will configure authentication, access policies, and data protection standards to ensure that AI applications (such as Microsoft Copilot and custom LLMs) are accessed securely and interact only with authorized data.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

• Identity Infrastructure & Access Control
• Core IAM Operations: Manage and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and on-premise Active Directory, including connect health, schema extensions, and trust relationships.  Development of auditing and reporting to business partners and stakeholders.
• Conditional Access: Design and enforce Conditional Access policies that specifically target high-risk sign-ins and restrict access to AI platforms based on device compliance and user location.
• SSO & Federation: Configure Enterprise Applications and SAML/OIDC integrations, ensuring strict authentication standards for third-party AI tools and SaaS platforms.
• AI Security Governance & Data Protection
• AI Access Governance: Implement entitlement management and access reviews to strictly control which users and groups have access to generative AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise).
• Non-Human Identity Management: Secure and govern Service Principals, Managed Identities, and API tokens used by AI agents and automated workflows to prevent unauthorized privilege escalation.
• Data Labeling (Purview): Configure Microsoft Purview sensitivity labels and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to prevent AI tools from ingesting or surfacing Restricted/Confidential internal data.
• Privileged Access & Monitoring
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM): Enforce Just-In-Time (JIT) access for administrative roles and monitor for unauthorized elevation of privileges related to AI infrastructure.
• Audit & Compliance: Monitor sign-in logs and audit trails for anomalous behavior involving AI applications, ensuring compliance with internal security frameworks.
• Lifecycle Management: Automate provisioning and de-provisioning workflows to ensure immediate revocation of access to AI tools upon employee departure.
• Training and Best practices:
• Coach team members on best practices in identity and access management, fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AI Security Architect to join AI Security team in Israel. This is a hands-on, highly technical role responsible for defining security architecture and implementing robust security controls for our AI/ML systems and their underlying platforms.

You will serve as the team’s technical mentor and architecture authority, driving secure-by-design patterns across the AI/ML lifecycle (data, training, evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring) and proactively mitigating AI-specific threats such as model integrity risks, data poisoning, adversarial attacks, prompt injection, model extraction, and inference-time abuse. What is the opportunity?

Role Description: Data & AI Governance Operations Specialist possesses a strong Data & AI Governance and project management background. They have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, They have solid experience assessing business needs, developing the implementation strategy and leading end-to-end activities for Data & AI Governance initiatives.

The role is responsible to work with senior stakeholders, as well as across Global/Regional/Site responsibilities. The role works with teams representing multiple sub-departments, and sometimes other departments within Booking.com as well. They are responsible for the success of the projects they lead, including but not limited to: requirements gathering and needs analyses, getting buy-in for concepts from senior-level stakeholders, end to end plan, risks and dependencies identification and management, presentations of findings & requests for support, leading the project team, administration of the project documents & supporting meetings, as well as constant alignment of their initiatives to the goals of Booking, the Data & AI Governance  department, and the teams they work with. Data and AI Governance:

• Data Stewardship: Manage and define Data Ownership and Stewardship structures, ensuring clear accountability and proper onboarding of data stewards.

• Data & AI Governance Principles: Apply and enforce Data & AI Governance principles, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and effective governance practices.

In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Vice President level position within the Innovation, Platforms and Communications Compliance team, which is responsible for providing compliance advice, governance, and oversight for analytics, data, artificial intelligence, generative AI, and platforms activities within Wealth Management.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $108,000.00 and $185,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. In this role, you will act as an independent 2nd Line validation function, ensuring that all models used across FIL Fondsbank (FFB) are subject to a robust and consistent validation cycle. You will validate FFB’s risk model landscape, which primarily consists of simple to medium‑complexity models across several risk types (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, IRRBB, Business Risk, Pension Risk, ICAAP, including stress testing, and EUC‑based models).

• Maintain and further enhance FFB’s Model Inventory, including risk classification and validation cycle.

• Conduct independent validations covering model purpose, data quality, methodology, implementation logic, and testing of key assumptions and outputs, while maintaining clear separation from model development and ownership

• Prepare clear, decision‑oriented validations, present results to FFB governance (e.g., Executive Committee) including model approval recommendations and use restrictions and set minimum content for Validation Reports.

About you :

You bring strong expertise in model validation and are comfortable operating in a regulatory environment. The ideal candidate should have:

• 3–5 years of experience in model validation, model risk management, or a closely related quantitative risk function within banking or asset management.

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Physics) or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the model monitoring roadmap, ensuring the practices are forward-looking, risk-informed, and aligned with business priorities and regulatory expectations. 

• Lead performance oversight for high-impact models, prioritizing monitoring efforts based on risk, materiality, and business impact—ensuring the right models receive the right level of scrutiny. 

• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

• Drive complex performance investigations, including monitoring, reporting, and flagging performance issues to support identification of root causes and business implications and guide coordinated corrective actions 

• Oversee the design and evolution of monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting systems that deliver timely, actionable insights to stakeholders and support informed decision-making 

• Maintain enterprise-wide monitoring standards, defining performance thresholds, stability indicators, and explainability requirements that reflect both regulatory guidance and internal risk appetite. 

• Champion automation and scalability, leveraging technology and analytics to streamline recurring monitoring routines and ensure consistency, accuracy, and long-term efficiency. 

• Act as a trusted advisor during audits and regulatory reviews, clearly articulating monitoring outcomes, risk mitigations, and the strength of the monitoring framework. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with model developers, users, validators, and risk officers to ensure that performance insights are integrated throughout the model lifecycle—from design to retirement. 

• Continuously evolve the monitoring function, staying ahead of industry best practices, emerging risks, and new technologies to ensure our capabilities remain strong, relevant, and resilient.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• 8+ years of of experience model analytics, monitoring, validation, or credit risk strategy within a financial or regulated setting. Strong technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. 

• Solid understanding of model performance metrics such as KS, AUC, PSI, and statistical indicators of stability and drift. 

• Ability to synthesize complex technical findings into business-friendly communications and recommendations. 

• Experience managing multiple projects or monitoring streams, with attention to timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations. 

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to create actionable performance dashboards. 

• Working knowledge of performance drift metrics, stability indicators, and key model health metrics. 

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize technical insights into business-aligned narratives and actionable recommendations. 

• Proven project management capabilities with experience leading multiple monitoring initiatives in parallel. 

• Broad understanding of credit risk, fraud, marketing analytics, regulatory modeling, or consumer lending..

Eligibility Criteria:

8 to 12 years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or data-focused field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) with 8+ years’ experience OR, in lieu of degree, and 10 to 12 years relevant work experience in model analytics, monitoring and validation.

Work Timings:

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
