Job Description The Fraud Analytics and Commercialization team drives Experian's fraud analytics business through four integrated functions: pre-sales engagement, scalable and custom solutions, consulting, and operational enablement, with the goal of becoming the industry's provider-of-choice. We're looking for a Senior Analyst, Analytics Development and Model Governance, with a foundation in statistics and applied machine learning across the full modeling lifecycle, from initial development through validation, deployment, and ongoing governance, to join our Fraud Analytics team. As the ideal candidate, you are as comfortable interrogating model performance as building and refining models, take pride in the standards that keep production models trustworthy, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field Degree (undergraduate or graduate) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or another quantitative discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Python skills for data analysis and machine learning, including PySpark, Polars, NumPy, and Pandas. Solid foundation in statistics and machine learning best practices. Experience with regression, XGBoost, and other core ML algorithms. Hands-on experience across the full model lifecycle: data ingestion, EDA, modeling, validation, and deployment. Experience building or supporting model development tools or pipelines. Familiarity with model governance frameworks covering validation, monitoring, and documentation. Experience communicating analytical concepts to diverse audiences. Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Spark. Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting, including Bash. Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Job Description The AI Governance Officer is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organization's AI governance framework, ensuring that AI systems are developed, deployed, and operated in a compliant, ethical, secure, and transparent manner. This role serves as the central point of coordination for AI governance activities and supports the organization's adherence to the EU AI Act, GDPR, and other relevant regulatory and industry requirements. The role oversees the implementation of AI governance policies, controls, and processes across the AI lifecycle, including the inventory and classification of AI systems, risk assessments, data governance, documentation, monitoring, and incident management. The AI Governance Officer works closely with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Data, Security, and Business teams to ensure AI solutions meet regulatory expectations while supporting innovation and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's AI Governance Framework, policies, standards, and control processes. Establish and oversee AI risk management practices, including the identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of AI-related risks such as bias, model drift, robustness, security, and transparency. Maintain an inventory of AI systems and ensure appropriate classification and governance based on applicable regulatory requirements and risk levels. Coordinate AI impact assessments and compliance reviews, ensuring alignment with the EU AI Act, data protection regulations, and internal governance standards. Oversee data governance practices for AI systems, including data quality, traceability, documentation, retention, and compliance with privacy requirements. Ensure the availability and maintenance of technical documentation, governance records, audit evidence, and compliance reporting related to AI systems. Monitor the performance and compliance of AI systems throughout their lifecycle, including post-deployment reviews, incident management, and remediation activities. Define and promote standards for human oversight, transparency, explainability, and ethical AI practices across the organization. Manage AI-related third-party and vendor governance activities, including due diligence, risk assessments, and contractual compliance requirements. Act as the primary liaison for AI governance matters with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and supervisory authorities. Deliver AI governance reporting, metrics, and risk insights to senior leadership and governance committees. Drive AI awareness and literacy initiatives to strengthen responsible AI adoption across the organization. Monitor regulatory developments, industry standards, and emerging best practices, ensuring the continuous evolution of the AI governance framework. Qualifications Key Requirements Experience in AI Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Technology Governance, Data Governance, or a related field. Strong understanding of the EU AI Act, GDPR, and broader technology and data governance frameworks. Knowledge of AI, machine learning, and generative AI concepts, including associated risks and control mechanisms. Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, controls, and compliance programs. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, legal, compliance, risk, and business stakeholders. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting audits, regulatory engagements, or compliance assessments is highly desirable.
