We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AI Security Architect to join AI Security team in Israel. This is a hands-on, highly technical role responsible for defining security architecture and implementing robust security controls for our AI/ML systems and their underlying platforms.

You will serve as the team’s technical mentor and architecture authority, driving secure-by-design patterns across the AI/ML lifecycle (data, training, evaluation, deployment, and production monitoring) and proactively mitigating AI-specific threats such as model integrity risks, data poisoning, adversarial attacks, prompt injection, model extraction, and inference-time abuse. While you won’t manage people, you will lead technically, set standards, and guide engineers day-to-day through architecture, reviews, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Secure-by-Design Leadership

• Define and maintain AI security reference architectures for multiple AI deployment patterns, including MCP / Agentic AI and LLM application stacks (RAG, tools/plugins, agents, orchestration).
• Establish and evolve security requirements, patterns, and guardrails across the AI/ML SDLC (design → build → run), including secure pipelines and platform controls.
• Own AI security architecture decisions across critical domains: identity, secrets, data protection, network controls, tenancy boundaries, logging/telemetry, and isolation for training/inference.

Control Design & Implementation (Hands-on)

• Design and deploy controls to ensure model integrity and governance, including RBAC/ABAC for models, feature stores, data sets, registries, and evaluation artifacts.
• Build/enable technical mechanisms for provenance, attestation, signing, and approval workflows (where applicable) across datasets, models, prompts, and deployments.
• Drive implementation of runtime protections for AI services (abuse prevention, rate limiting, input/output validation, prompt-injection mitigations, model endpoint hardening, and monitoring).

Threat Modeling, Assurance, and Risk Reduction

• Conduct and lead AI/ML-specific threat modeling (data poisoning, model evasion, extraction, inversion, supply-chain, prompt attacks), translate findings into actionable backlogs, and drive remediation.
• Define and run security design reviews for AI initiatives; provide clear, pragmatic architecture guidance and document exceptions with risk acceptance paths.
• Establish AI security testing approaches (adversarial testing, red-teaming enablement, evaluation security, misuse/abuse cases) and integrate into delivery pipelines.

Tooling, Automation, and Operational Enablement

• Design and deliver AI security tooling to improve and automate cybersecurity posture (e.g., controls coverage, policy-as-code, detection engineering, vulnerability management integration, incident response playbooks for AI-specific events).
• Define logging/monitoring standards and detection use-cases for AI platforms and LLM apps (drift signals, anomalous access, suspicious prompt patterns, exfiltration indicators, policy violations).

Technical Mentorship & Influence (No Line Management)

• Act as the team’s technical mentor: coach engineers through designs, implementations, and trade-offs; raise engineering quality via reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
• Lead by influence across Data Science, Engineering, Product, Platform, and Cybersecurity—driving alignment without formal authority.
• Create internal enablement materials: runbooks, architecture standards, reusable patterns, and reference implementations.

• 6+ years in Information Security, Cloud Security, or Application Security.
• 2+ years securing AI/ML systems or LLM applications in production (or equivalent depth in architecture and threat modeling for AI-enabled systems).

Technical Expertise

• Deep understanding of the ML/AI lifecycle and associated security risks (training/inference threats, data governance, evaluation integrity, model/prompt supply chain).

This job is responsible for leading and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). What we’re looking for:

Role Description: Data & AI Governance Operations Specialist possesses a strong Data & AI Governance and project management background. They have excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, They have solid experience assessing business needs, developing the implementation strategy and leading end-to-end activities for Data & AI Governance initiatives.

The role is responsible to work with senior stakeholders, as well as across Global/Regional/Site responsibilities. The role works with teams representing multiple sub-departments, and sometimes other departments within Booking.com as well. They are responsible for the success of the projects they lead, including but not limited to: requirements gathering and needs analyses, getting buy-in for concepts from senior-level stakeholders, end to end plan, risks and dependencies identification and management, presentations of findings & requests for support, leading the project team, administration of the project documents & supporting meetings, as well as constant alignment of their initiatives to the goals of Booking, the Data & AI Governance  department, and the teams they work with. They are challenged to learn & adapt to new tools & technologies as a part of being a champion of change. This role supports the high velocity of change and enables an agile development environment where releases are frequency & impact many layers of the organization

This role may also get involved in running a strategy workstream from problem definition to delivering a solution  including the implementation strategy or execute change management initiatives and communications plans.


Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Data and AI Governance:

• Data Stewardship: Manage and define Data Ownership and Stewardship structures, ensuring clear accountability and proper onboarding of data stewards.

• Data & AI Governance Principles: Apply and enforce Data & AI Governance principles, processes, and standards to ensure consistent and effective governance practices.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Data & AI regulatory policies, such as GDPR, DMA, SOx, and the EU AI Act, by staying updated on compliance requirements and integrating them into governance frameworks.

• Data & AI Governance Practices: Oversee data cataloging, data profiling, metadata management, data classification, data lineage, master data management, and workflows, ensuring robust governance of critical data elements.

 Project Management: 

• Craft Methodology and Standards: Apply structured methodology to and lead project/change management activities.

• E2E Project Management: Lead independently End-to-end (E2E) low/medium [Project/Workstream] and/or support high complexity [Project] from scoping to execution, analysis, recommendation and implementation.

• Project Initiation and Planning: With limited supervision, drives the program scoping and planning working with different teams and creating associated documentation.

• Project Implementation and Completion: Drive project plan execution, ensuring project objectives are met on agreed timelines, track and report progress and ensure a project closing and correct handover to Business as usual.

• Project Governance: With limited supervision design and implement project governance and delivery structure to ensure efficient delivery, communication and decision making

• Delivery/Impact: Drive the progress and successful delivery or initiatives that bring value to the business. 

• Stakeholder Management: Primary point of contact for Project(s) related queries. Ability to work and productively interact with different stakeholders up to Senior Managers and Senior Director Level

• Success Metrics: Define and measure the success metrics of the Project(s) in scope.

• Facilitator: Lead independent workshops to support the delivery of the Project(s)

• Project Management Tooling: Utilize Atlassian Jira and Confluence to manage project workflows, track progress, and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Change Management: Apply change management methodologies, with a understanding of the change curve and process, to guide teams through transitions and ensure smooth adaptation to changes.

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience around Data Governance, or, alternatively, 3+ years of experience in working with Data, coming from Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Analytical background

• 3-5 years or relevant project management experience

• PMP or Agile Project Management or equivalent certification is preferred.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $108,000.00 and $185,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. The Enterprise AI Governance Office (AIGO) within the Enterprise Advanced Analytics and AI Hub at CIBC is responsible for ensuring that all AI activities at CIBC are governed in accordance with the Enterprise AI Framework and its associated processes and standards. AIGO develops, operationalizes, and continuously improves AI governance practices to manage AI-related risks, ensure regulatory readiness, and enable responsible innovation across the bank.

This Senior Consultant, AI Risk Management will support CIBC’s AI risk management practices by conducting and reviewing AI risk assessments, developing effective AI risk mitigation plans in partnership with business teams and other risk control groups, and by providing AI risk advisory services to the enterprise. About you :

AI Security Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled AI Security Engineer to join a dynamic team of AI Security engineers in Israel. This critical role will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust security controls for our Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems and their underlying platforms. The successful candidate will proactively identify and mitigate unique security risks associated with the AI/ML lifecycle, including model integrity, data poisoning, adversarial attacks, and system robustness. ● Support security engineers in the evaluation of AI systems being developed and implemented. Conduct threat modeling specific to AI/ML systems, identifying vulnerabilities related to data poisoning, model evasion, extraction, and integrity.

● Research and Innovate: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI security, conduct research, and contribute to the development of innovative security solutions.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

● Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Information Security, with at least 1+ years focused on securing AI/ML systems. Experience in analyzing systems and identifying security and abuse problems, threat modeling, and remediation is critical in this role.

● Education (Preferred): Minimum BA/BS degree. Advanced degree (Masters, PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, or a related quantitative field is preferred.

● Technical Expertise:

○ Deep understanding of the ML/AI lifecycle and its associated security risks.

○  Expertise in cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services related to AI/ML (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI).

○ Strong knowledge of data security principles, including encryption, masking, and tokenization.

○ Deep understanding of AI specific threats, including adversarial ML, data poisoning, prompt injection and model inversion and inference attacks and associated defensive measures

○ Strong knowledge of application security architecture best practices and architecture patterns

○ Strong coding experience in AI relating languages such as Python/Go

○ Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies and AWS

● Certifications (Preferred): Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or specialized AI security certifications.

● Knowledge of AI related security related frameworks and standards

Soft Skills:

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security concepts into clear requirements for both technical and non-technical audiences.

● Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams (Data Science, Engineering, Product, Cybersecurity).

● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to emerging AI security challenges.
