As a Senior Data & AI Governance Expert, you play a key role in defining, operationalizing and embedding data & AI governance across Telenet:

Designing and operationalizing a data & AI governance framework aligned with our agile, product-oriented way of working
Defining policies, guidelines and processes for both structured & unstructured data classification, ownership, data quality, lineage, cataloguing and lifecycle management
Embedding governance into tools and workflows, enabling policy-as-code where possible (e.g. policy scoring, AI risk assessment, product catalog, metadata management, unstructured data tagging, ...)
Driving our enterprise data governance platform, including:
- implementing and optimising workflows (e.g. data product onboarding, ownership, policy scoring, risk screening)
- defining and maintaining metadata models, operating models and governance roles
- increasing adoption and usability through stakeholder engagement, training and continuous improvement
Governing AI, GenAI & GenBI use cases, including semantic layer management, risk assessments, responsible AI controls and model governance
Collaborating closely with product owners, product managers, data analysts, architects, security and legal teams to ensure governance is practical and embedded in daily operations
Defining, monitoring and reporting on governance KPIs, compliance indicators and risk metrics
Driving adoption and change, through coaching, training and continuous improvement of governance practices

Master's degree in a quantitative field (Business Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Sciences, Information Management) or equivalent by experience

Strong expertise in translating policies into operational processes in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

The Sr. Manager, AI Audit & Automation designs, builds, and deploys production-grade AI and automation solutions that transform how audit work is planned, executed, and evidenced. This is a strategy and execution role, requiring strong judgement, deep AI governance expertise, deep understanding the Responsible AI principle and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a complex environment. Key responsibilities … * Lead the design and uplift of the end-to-end Responsible AI governance framework, covering areas such as transparency, bias mitigation, explainability etc * Drive the operationalisation of policies and frameworks, embedding clear guardrails across AI development and use, including for third-party and internal AI to manage AI risks * Act as the internal SME on AI regulation and risk frameworks, translating regulatory expectations into clear, implementable technical and governance requirements (e.g. ISO42001, ISO42005, NIST AI RMF, Australian Guidance for AI Adoption) * Provide senior guidance and decisioning support on Responsible AI risks, controls and trade-offs across strategic initiatives and executive forums * Define and implement technical capabilities that enable Responsible AI by design, including evaluation, monitoring, traceability and auditability * Uplift and scale governance tooling and processes, including leveraging AI to enhance Responsible AI oversight and improve efficiency of governance activities * Lead AI use case intake, triage and preliminary risk assessments, partnering with SME and technical teams to assess risks such as explainability and ensure appropriate human-in-the-loop controls etc * Maintain core enterprise capabilities (e.g. AI inventory, monitoring and reporting) to support transparency, accountability and effective risk management * Partner with business and technology teams to ensure AI solutions deliver genuine customer value while meeting ethical and risk expectations * Act as a senior connector across multiple stakeholders to balance safety, compliance and delivery speed, and drive a cohesive Responsible AI culture * Champion ethical AI use, including initiatives that deliver positive societal and community outcomes * Develop and deliver training and organisational uplift on Responsible AI expectations and requirements Skills & experience * Demonstrated experience operating at a senior leadership level, driving enterprise-wide strategy and execution initiatives * Strong experience in AI risk, governance, compliance, legal, technology or related disciplines within a regulated environment * Deep understanding of Responsible AI principles and ability to translate them into practical, scalable controls * Strong understanding of AI technologies, how they work, associated risks and how to manage them (e.g. bias, explainability, drift, misuse) * Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across complex, cross-functional environments * Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and lifecycle oversight processes * Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capability with sound judgement * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance. POSITION SUMMARY Bayview Asset Management is seeking a Senior Analyst, AI Governance to enhance the firm’s enterprise technology governance function. This role is responsible for assisting in the establishing and overseeing of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance framework that ensures alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and operational excellence. This Sr. Analyst will oversee AI governance, model risk alignment, technology risk management, and regulatory compliance across the organization. This role serves as a key control function, partnering with IT, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and business leadership to ensure safe, responsible, and compliant use of technology — including emerging AI and Generative AI capabilities. Master’s degree preferred Experience in AI/IT governance, risk management, or a related field, with direct exposure to AI/ML governance strongly preferred Experience with regulatory compliance and risk management in the IT domain Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CGEIT are highly desirable. Location and Compensation: This role can be fully remote, however if a candidate is found in the Toronto area, it is preferred. The compensation available for this role can be between $130,000 - $160,000 CAD. This range is dependent on experience. There is also a performance-based bonus structure available.
